Text Analysis

My Zoo Experience

My Zoo Experience 

It all started on wednesday 18th of November when Room 9 and about 8 people from room 10 were in the  same bus. I was sitting next to my best friend Luisapeta. When we were on our way to the Auckland zoo we each got our own notebook some of us turned it into a diary. On the way to the zoo Soloia’s dad Edwin let us use his phone to take some photos but we ended up taking a lot of photos. We saw lots of things like 2 people on the roof, Rainbows End and the sky tower.

Finally we got to the zoo and we were put into our groups. I was in Edwin’s group with Soloia, Ila, Mahnna and Patrick. We took some more photos. We went in to the zoo and the first thing we did was we went to see the giraffes,

zebras and ostriches. Then we went to see the Meerkats Soloia and I wrote down some stuff about Meerkat. After seeing the Meerkats we went to see the lions but we could not see them. Soloia and I wrote down some things about lions. We found out that lion's roar can be heard up to 10km away. We went to see the waterbuck, Nyala and Rhinoceros then we went to see the flamingo. We went to see the elephant me and soloia went back to see the flamingos and we ended up seeing our best friend Luisapeta.

 We went to see baboons after seeing the serval we couldn’t see because they are a master of hide and seek. We went to see the seal it was swimming on its back around in circles. We went to go see the penguins and we also saw the other school. It turns out there were meant to be 6 schools at the zoo but there was only one other school there. We went to see the tuatara and there was this box thing that had holes in it. In the holes there was a fake snake and a fake lizard.  Soloia and I got Patrick to put his hand in it. He screamed like a girl two times. It was so funny then we told him that they were fake. 

One of the best parts about the zoo trip was Edwin let us get some ice cream. It was so yummy. 

 

We got back on the bus and went back to school on the way to school me and Soloia fell asleep on the bus. Soloia woke me up when we got to school. I went home and took a bath and went to sleep at like 6:00 or 7:00.
